Pink roses from Mom's garden

The world changes from year to year,
our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never pass away.

In life we loved you, since you've left, we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place, only a mother and friend can fill.

A mom's hug lasts long after she let's go.

(Our Mom gave the biggest, warmest bear hugs.)

Pink rose from Mom's garden

Where ever our Mother made her home, she was surrounded by pale pink roses.

At her last home at Harare, Zimbabwe, Mom planted 100 rose bushes ranging from white blooms to deep reds.

All the roses you see on this page were nurtured in her garden.

It would seem fitting to have pink roses at her funeral on Tuesday, 2nd March.
These days we are asked to rather donate to a good cause.

The Details for Pauline's Funeral Service

Pauline Cook

Dear Family and Friends,

Following our dear Mother's passing on Wednesday 3 February, these are the details for her religious funeral service. This will be held at …

The Milton Chapel,
Chilterns Crematorium,
Whielden Lane,
Amersham,
Bucks, HP7 0ND

On Tuesday 2 March at:

11.30 am UK time,
1.30 pm SA time and
7.30 pm Perth time.

You are most welcome to join us in-person or virtually or in prayer from where ever you may be at that time, and celebrate our Mother's life.

Attend in-person in England

If you would like to attend in person, please let Nigel orJudith know so they can monitor numbers.

Or Attend Virtually Worldwide

If you would like to attend virtually, Pauline's service will also be webcast. You'll be able to watch live (but not participate like a Zoom call.)

Please contact Nigel for details if you are in the UK, or contact Tina if you are in South Africa or Liz in Perth so we can message you with the access details for the webcast.

We can send you a digital copy of Pauline's Order of Service so you'll be able to join in the hymns and follow the service to be led by Father Liam Cummins.

If you wish to say a few words or give a brief tribute at the Service, please contact one of us so we know ahead of time and can let you know how this can be done virtually too.

The service should last about half an hour.

The Wake

Yes, we are planning a Zoom Wake starting at 1.30 pm UK, 3. 30 pm SA and 9.30 pm in Perth.

If you'd like to join us with your virtual toast and share some happy memories of times with Pauline, (may be a few stories we haven't heard), please contact one of us for the virtual access details.

Gratitude to the wonderful nursing staff

Our family will always be ever grateful to the thoughtful and dedicated nurses and staff at the Manor Care Home and the Wexham Park Hospital for their wonderful care of our Mother, and their support. Being able to visit virtually via WhatsApp was a godsend.

Thank you too for your comforting thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Certainly made this chapter easier, so thank you.

We hope you'll be able to join us to celebrate Pauline's life on Tuesday.

Much love,

Tina, Nigel and Liz
